Sayyeda Zainab (s.a.), the daughter of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Sayyeda Fatima (s.a.), was an exemplary woman of great ability, intelligence, knowledge, insight, courage and perseverance; she performed her divine duties to the best of her ability. She was born to a family formed by the Prophet (SAW), the most outstanding figure in history. The Prophet's wife Sayyeda Khadija (s.a.) a devoted woman, was her maternal grandmother, and her paternal grandmother was Fatima daughter of Assad, who mothered and nursed the Prophet (SAW). The members of the family, in trio hierarchical order, were all great.
Sayyeda Zainab (s.a.) was a brilliant star in the mandate sky that received rays of holiness from the five suns. It was through her holy origins and pious edification that she manifested so great a fortitude in Karbala (Iraq).
The life of the daughter of Sayyeda Al-Zahra (s.a.) was always laden with hardships, but she never feared coping with difficulties, this enhanced her endurance and elevated her soul.

KSIMC of Milton Keynes Hustings Survey

The KSI Muslim Community of Milton Keynes intends to hold a hustings event for the highly marginal seat of Milton Keynes South. The event will invite all the parliamentary candidates for the seat to debate issues, in the presence of our community members and will take place in early March 2015. With current estimates from the Electoral Calculus predicting Labour to with the gain the set from the Conservatives by a margin of 0.75%, it is possible, given that most of our community members live in the Milton Keynes South Constituency, that our vote could well decide the Member of Parliament for Milton Keynes South.  This is an important step to place the concerns of the Muslim community in mainstream British politics as well as our own local

Eid-e-Zahra (S.A) - 9th Rabi Al Awwal

Eid e Zehra is a day of celebration, a day in which even the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) rejoiced! This day holds importance due to numerous events that transpired on this day in history.

One of the events which is marked on this day is the beginning of the Imamate of our 12th Imam, al-Hujjah ibn al-Hasan (may Allah hasten his return). His father, Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS) left this world on the 8th and, immediately after, his son took over the mantle of leadership. His leadership has spanned
